Septuagint vs. Masoretic

I find this video interesting in light of my study of Bible manuscript history and modern methods of criticism. I am in the process of reading an English translation of the Septuagint. It does read differently in some places than the English translation of the Masoretic. Nevertheless, I do like it. If the claims in the video above are true, modern textual critics should reconsider their methods of evaluating the internal and external evidence.
