The Fruit of the Flesh and the Spirit

Galatians 5:19-26 goes as follows: "19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. 24 And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not desire vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another."
I had a thought the other day to examine why the world (world system) values the fruits of the flesh and despises the fruits of the Spirit. I am going to begin looking at this and posting my findings in a series of posts. I hope you will forgive me because my work schedule is such that I will probably be a little slow in getting this information together. Nevertheless, standby, and I will have it out there. I am planning on alternating between Flesh fruit and Spirit fruit. This is as much a benefit to me as I hope it will be to some others. The first one I am going to address next time will be "Adultery." Why does the world value adultery? and after that, we will look at "Love." Why does the world hate love?
